How to Set Up an Auto Level Correctly Malaysia
Correct auto level setup is essential for reliable construction and surveying measurements.
Even a high-quality professional auto level can produce poor results when the tripod is unstable, the instrument is mounted incorrectly or the levelling staff is not held properly.

Step 1: Choose a Stable Location
Before opening the tripod, look at the ground.

Aim the telescope at the levelling staff and adjust the focusing knob until the staff graduations are clear.

The levelling staff should be held vertically on the measurement point.
