How to Set Up an Auto Level Correctly Malaysia

 

Correct auto level setup is essential for reliable construction and surveying measurements.

 

Even a high-quality professional auto level can produce poor results when the tripod is unstable, the instrument is mounted incorrectly or the levelling staff is not held properly.

The levelling staff should be held vertically on the measurement point.

A staff bubble can also assist with vertical positioning.

 

Step 10: Take the Reading Carefully

 

Read the levelling staff where the horizontal crosshair intersects the graduation.

 

Record the value immediately and clearly.
