Compared with traditional vernier caliper , stainless steel digital vernier caliper features an additional digital readout screen which shows measuring result in a very quick and direct way. The screen cover of digital caliper has many shapes and material, such as metal cover and plastic cover. Inside the screen cover is battery which can be easily replaced. It provides basic function of 4-way measurements like inside, outside, step and depth dimensions.

The stainless steel digital vernier caliper has four buttons, each performing a specific function.

On/off button, users can turn on and turn off digital caliper. And usually caliper would automatically turns off after several minutes of not using.

Zero button sets the current measurement to zero at any position. After setting the zero position, there is no need to readjust the starting position of the caliper every time during measurement. A lot of time can be saved, and the efficiency of the measurement work can be improved.

Inch/Metric button enables users to switch metric and imperial reading at any position. The metric-imperial conversion function can help workers and technicians flexibly convert between different unit systems, avoiding mistakes caused by errors in unit conversion.

These three buttons are commonly equipped on each stainless steel digital vernier caliper.
